Update June
We want to say thank you so much for your prayer and support for the DTS. And a special thanks to all of the guest speakers who came here to teach to our students. Thank you so much for sacrificing your time, energy and generosity. Without you it would be impossible for us to run the school. Thank you again!
At this school term we traveled 1200km to Erdenetsogt, Zag, Baidrag (counties in Bayankhongor) and Zavhan (western province of Mongolia), and shared the gospel with more than 400 people, from them more than 50 people accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, 2 people got baptized.
The DTS finished on June 19th. As you know we started with 12 students but only 10 students finished the school. They all came to the school with expectation of knowing God in deeper ways, growing in their relationship with God, and changing their lives. During the school God revealed Himself in many different ways. In some areas they each alike grew in their relationships with the Father God. At the beginning of the school most of them were expecting that the school will change their lives, but end of the school they understood that their relationship with God and knowing Him will change their lives. Through the school some of their misconceptions about Jesus changed, and they learned to see Jesus as an active and living God. Some of them saw God’s faithfulness and His provision, some of them learned to depend on God, not depend on people or themselves, some of them learned that God is their Father and takes care of them. Others came to understand that whatever they have done their Father is always there waiting for them and they can run back to His arm whenever they want.
One of the most recent activities here in Bayankhongor was a Bible knowledge competition. Together with the organized with a local church we organized a competition that was open to local believers and YWAM staff and Students. Through this competition and others like it believers are encouraged to read and study the word of God. More than 50 people participated the competition. And we look forward to helping with the next competition.
Again we want to thank you for your continued prayers and financial support. None of what we do would be possible if it weren't for your involvement.

The new DTS started
We just started a new DTS on February 8th. This group started with 13 people. Unfortunately one student has left. This time we have 2 students from Omnogobi, 1 from Arkhangai, 1 from Tses som Zavhan, 1 one from Erdenet, 6 from Bayankhongor and one from Bayangobi county of Bayankhongor. Our students’ ages are between 19 and 40. Five of them are women, the rest of them are men - God is raising more men in Him. 4 ladies have babies. The babies’ ages are 5 months to 17 months. We are very proud of them, because it is difficult to study with babies. Even though they have to take care of their babies, they are also eager to learn about God. The students all come from different backgrounds. God has special plans for each one of them and special gifts to give each of them through the DTS. Before the DTS started all the staff prayed for the students and received verses for the DTS. It is amazing that God gave us different verses which really suit all the students.
Here are the verses:
ü One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple. Psalms 27:4
ü 8 He has showed you, O man, what is good.
And what does the LORD require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8
ü 5And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. Romans 5:5
ü but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31
ü 13Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13,14
We pray that God will fulfill His propose for the students, He will teach each one His holy ways and His desire will become their heart’s desire.
Please be with us with your prayers!

Last DTS's students' testimonies
Narantsuluun’s testimony (from Arkhangai)
My family is all Christian, except me. My church pastor and my parents suggested that I do DTS. I didn’t want to go to DTS, because I had no idea about what DTS was, and what I would learn from this. So even though I didn’t want to go Bayankhongor to do DTS, I ended up coming anyway. Also I hadn’t accepted Jesus as my savior at all.
During the DTS I learned about God, and accepted Christ as my savior. God taught me His holy ways. He changed me. He renewed and refreshed my spirit. Now I am growing in faith and my relationship with God.
The outreach trip was awesome. The whole outreach was a big challenge for me. On the outreach I had wonderful opportunities to share my faith with others, and work out what I have learned during the lecture phase.
When I look back at my old self 5 months ago, I see many changes. God changed my personality and character. I want to know God in deeper ways. When I go back to town, I’ll serve in my church and home group. The most important treasure that I found is my relationship with my loving, true God and friend.
I am very grateful to God that He chose me, called me out under sin, and has given me a freedom.
Praise God!
Last DTS's students' testimonies
Lkhagvasuren’s testimony (from Uvurkhangai)
Last year YWAM-BH’s DTS’ students came to my town on their outreach. When they were there I was not, I just heard about them. My church people told me nice stories about them so I wanted to do DTS. I prayed to God that He would allow me to attend.
Last fall, God gave a very nice opportunity to do DTS. While I was doing the DTS in Bayankhongor I didn’t have any support from my family, because I am only Christian in my family. I didn’t have money for school tuition. I trusted in God’s provision. During the school time I saw God’s provision for me. He provided for me abundantly.
Before I came to the DTS I was serving in my church in Uvurkhangai. But I was seeing God as jinn, I went and prayed to God when I was in trouble, or I needed something. Through the school I learned to go to God in any situation and give thanks to Him. I started to see God in different ways. My heart is the most important thing to God, not my outside. I understood now why it is very important to have an intimate relationship with God. I grew a lot in my faith and relationship with God. I also acknowledge that I still need to grow continually in my relationship with God. He is the one who is always close with me.
The most important thing that God did in my life is He put a foundation of Christ. Wherever I go, whatever I do, I’ll build my faith house on that foundation. I thank God for everything that He has for me.

The DTS's outreach and graduation
Thank you very much for your faithful prayer and support! During the whole outreach time God fully protected us and blessed us.
The DTS’s outreach went awesome. Our God was so faithful and blessed us and community people through the outreach. Team China went to the border city of Inner Mongolia. They met a family and stayed in their house. While they were there they did prayer walk and showed Christ’s love to those who were around them. The host family was happy that they now have friends from Mongolia. The students and staff invited them to Mongolia. If God wants we would love to see them in Mongolia sometime.
The team South Gobi served in Dalanzadgad (center of South Gobi) for three weeks. While we were there our ministry was divided into two areas, marriage counseling course to church couples, and helping the local churches with street evangelism. Through the marriage counseling course two couples accepted Christ.
The two teams reunited and continued the outreach in Bayanlig and Bayangobi (Bayankhongor’s counties) when they were there their ministry focused on supporting the local church leaders and church members. They also did some community work.
During the outreach the students grew a lot in God and their faith. It was a great challenge and opportunity to work out their faith and what they have learned during the lecture phase.
Last week on the 21st of January we had the DTS’s graduation. As you have heard, at the beginning of the DTS we started with 15 students, but in the end eight students graduated. We want to call them heroes, because they finished the race successfully. During the DTS’s five months God put foundations in their lives. They see God is the one who takes care for them.
And now we are ready to start our next DTS on the 8th of February. We will have a little more than 10 students this time. Please pray for the next DTS’s students, may God lead them and provide for them.
