Update June

We want to say thank you so much for your prayer and support for the DTS. And a special thanks to all of the guest speakers who came here to teach to our students. Thank you so much for sacrificing your time, energy and generosity. Without you it would be impossible for us to run the school. Thank you again!

At this school term we traveled 1200km to Erdenetsogt, Zag, Baidrag (counties in Bayankhongor) and Zavhan (western province of Mongolia), and shared the gospel with more than 400 people, from them more than 50 people accepted Jesus Christ as their savior, 2 people got baptized.

The DTS finished on June 19th. As you know we started with 12 students but only 10 students finished the school. They all came to the school with expectation of knowing God in deeper ways, growing in their relationship with God, and changing their lives. During the school God revealed Himself in many different ways. In some areas they each alike grew in their relationships with the Father God. At the beginning of the school most of them were expecting that the school will change their lives, but end of the school they understood that their relationship with God and knowing Him will change their lives. Through the school some of their misconceptions about Jesus changed, and they learned to see Jesus as an active and living God. Some of them saw God’s faithfulness and His provision, some of them learned to depend on God, not depend on people or themselves, some of them learned that God is their Father and takes care of them. Others came to understand that whatever they have done their Father is always there waiting for them and they can run back to His arm whenever they want.

One of the most recent activities here in Bayankhongor was a Bible knowledge competition. Together with the organized with a local church we organized a competition that was open to local believers and YWAM staff and Students. Through this competition and others like it believers are encouraged to read and study the word of God. More than 50 people participated the competition. And we look forward to helping with the next competition.

Again we want to thank you for your continued prayers and financial support. None of what we do would be possible if it weren't for your involvement.
